- 01 How much does it cost for delivery?
- Delivery cost for all ice sculptures is dependent on where the event is being held. Delivery and set up is always incorporated into the price we provide you with. We deliver across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast areas.
- 02 How long will the ice carvings last?
- It is dependent on the atmospheric conditions in the room and the size of the sculptures. On average, the ice carvings will last 5-6 hours, however, the ice can still last longer than that.
- 03 It’s hot in Queensland – won’t the ice carving melt?
- As most events are indoors and during the evening, the ice carvings will still last 5-6 hours. If the ice sculpture is for an outdoor event, unfortunately we can’t provide accurate timing due to varied conditions such as sun and wind exposure.
- 04 Will it make a mess?
- We supply specialised drip trays with a hose outlet and drain hose with all our sculptures. The venue/customer will need to supply a 20L bucket to catch the melting water.
- 05 When should the ice sculpture be delivered?
- Delivery should occur 1 – 1.5 hours prior to your guests arrival. If your venue has a large commercial freezer, we may be able to deliver the day before however this would need to be confirmed during the booking process.
- 06 What is the best way to display an ice sculpture?
- Have the sculpture displayed where you want the attention of your guests to be. Some suggestions are on the buffet as it will keep the seafood fresh and cool to entice your guests. It can also be displayed on the bar to add that extra decorative touch. Or have it standing alone as a feature. It is entirely up to you and your personal touch.
- 07 What does the customer need to provide?
- As ice sculptures are extremely heavy, a level and secure table strong enough to hold 90-100kg will be required. We suggest using a table cloth or linen drape for presentation. We also ask that a 20L bucket is supplied under the table ready for us to place the drain hose in.
- 08 Is there anything I need to do once the ice sculpture is delivered?
- As the ice sculpture gradually melts, water will be captured in the drip tray and will flow through the drain hose into the bucket. It is extremely important to check and empty the bucket every hour to void overflowing.
- 09 How much notice is required before the event?
- We prefer at least 3 weeks notice due to the production requirements. Please still get in touch if your event is less than 3 weeks away as we will still try to assist as best as we can. Any cancellations may result in the loss of the booking deposit.
- 10 How does booking and payment work?
- We will supply a booking form via email once we’ve discussed your idea and provided you with an accurate price. Once we receive your completed booking form, we will then issue a tax invoice confirming the order. Our tax invoice will also provide payment details such as bank details for direct debit transactions or debit/credit card secure portal. A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. The outstanding 50% must be paid prior to delivery.
